Brackett PTO Annual Appeal – Huge Thanks and a Request!
Fifty-seven Brackett families contributed over $9,500 to the PTO in the weeks before winter break! Thank you to all of you – please know that you are supporting enrichment for your child and for all Brackett children and every member of our community is grateful!

For those who have yet to contribute, please consider making your tax-deductible donation today. As you know, the PTO conducts a variety of fundraising initiatives through out the year and each of these supports the children of Brackett Elementary – this means field trips, special school visitors and programs, community activities and more can happen!

This year, we are working hard to reduce the number of different fundraising events, and instead trying to focus on our annual appeal. With one gift of $75 per child in the School, you match the amount the Brackett PTO spends annually! Please consider making your gift today via Paypal (see we are making it easier than ever!), please visit:
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=VLD858297ASM6 or visit www.brackettelementary.org  and click “Donate.” You may also make a check payable to "Brackett School PTO.”  Return form and check in a labeled envelope “ annual appeal” in your child’s folder or drop your donation off in the main office in the envelope marked “Annual Appeal”.

Thank you for your support of the Brackett PTO and most importantly for the children of Brackett Elementary School!

Showtimes: The Fairy Circus 11am; An Arabian Adventure 2pm

Location: Regent Theatre, 7 Medford Street, Arlington MA

Arlington Family Connection (AFC) is sponsoring its annual Tanglewood Marionettes Show. This year AFC will be presenting The Fairy Circus and An Arabian Adventure.

Both shows will begin with a brief demonstration of the art of puppetry. Through humorous interplay, the audience will learn about various forms of puppets, from the simple glove puppet to the sophisticated marionette.

An Arabian Adventure tells the tale of a Persian prince who is thrown into a dungeon because of his love for a beautiful princess. Facing danger at every turn, the courageous prince must battle his way out of the underground prison to save his princess from a tragic fate. e soundtrack features professional acting set to the background of classical music from favorite composers, as well as traditional Middle Eastern music.
