1/7/16: Town-Wide Visioning Meeting - Participation is welcomed!

Thursday, January 7th at 7:00 in Town Hall there will be a town-wide Visioning Meeting hosted in part by the Enrollment Task Force in conjunction with members of the Arlington School Committee . In this meeting, community members will engage in exercises designed to bring out our thoughts, hopes, fears, and questions about decisions surrounding our enrollment growth. Please tell friends and neighbors. We welcome the entire community, whether you have kids in the schools or not.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT: MINIONS (PG) – Friday, January 8!

Friday, January 8 the 5th graders host family movie night featuring Minions in the Brackett Gym. Suggested ticket donation is $5/person, $20/max/family. Tickets and concessions can be purchased starting at 5 pm on the 8th. Pizza, popcorn, candy and water will be sold. Bring your mats, blankets, pillows and PJs. Doors open at 5:00 pm, film begins at 6:00 pm.

Brackett PTO Meeting - 1/19/16

Join us for the first Brackett PTO meeting of 2016. We will welcome School Committee member Jennifer Susse who will do a short presentation and then answer your questions. All are welcome to attend!

Menotomy Musical Theater presents "The Little Mermaid, Jr."

Arlington's Menotomy Musical Theater features local students in the performance of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home - and her fins - behind and live in the world above. But first she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.

Performances are at Belmont Town Hall on Friday, January 15 @ 7pm and Saturday, January 16 @ 2pm, Saturday, January 16 @ 7pm and Sunday, January 17 @ 2pm. Tickets may be purchased online at Brown Paper Tickets: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2475046
