Nurse Vergnani's Health Office Reminders
Happy and healthy start to the school year for all Brackett families. A few reminders to parents:
- NOTE THIS WEEK: Please watch for a notice regarding the Arlington Health Services Program. It will come home in your child’s backpack this week. (It’s green!)
- NOTIFY ME: Please notify the nurse if your child has an illness or condition that is contagious to other children, or an injury that will require accommodations while in school. Call the nurse’s office directly 781-316-3701 or send in a note. If you visit the doctor’s office please have them give you a note or fax the information directly to me: 781-316-3465. All extended school activity restrictions need to be medically documented.
- REMINDER: Grade 4 Physical Exams need to be sent in to the health office.
- NOTE: The safe arrival # is for student absences. Please call the health office directly to share your child’s health condition with the nurse. Health information left on the safe arrival # doesn’t always get to the nurse.
- FORM: Remember to complete and return the Student Emergency Contact Form. If you have misplaced yours, please stop by the office.
Thank you,
-Diane Vergnani RN

SHARE YOUR STORY! Culture and Creativity Night, Fri. 11/3

Please join the Brackett Community for our first Culture and Creativity Night, Friday, 11/3 from 6-8pm. It's a chance to share the diverse school community we have and to learn where we all come from, be it a new arrival or perhaps your family has been here for many generations!
The sign-up genius is brimming with volunteers to host country tables (20 Tables signed up to date!). We could still use a few more country tables, and several more volunteers to share a food dish, craft, music or STEM leader from your country/ culture, and/or set-up and clean-up after. Multiple families may host a table together. Host tables can include a poster board with a picture of the country flag, information about the geography, population, music, sports, food, traditional wear... whatever you want to share!
To sign up to host a table, make/donate food, or host a craft, please sign up here:
