Round up your Box Tops - Fall deadline is Friday 10/21

Thanks to all of the families who've dropped off Box Tops already!  We have a few more days before our Fall drive deadline, this Friday, 10/21.  Remember every 10 box tops earns $1 in FREE money to our school for field trips and enrichment.  So please gather them today and either tape them to plain sheets of paper (or tape them onto these fun theme sheets set of 10) and place them in the bin in the school lobby.

Thank you for participating in this fun and easy fundraiser for Brackett!!  -Kate Riley

Brackett PTO Meet & Greet next Friday 10/28

Come to the Brackett PTO Meet & Greet next Friday!
This is a great opportunity to meet committee members, ask questions and discover how you can enrich your child's education experience by getting involved in the Brackett PTO!  Please join us at 8:15am next Friday October 28th in the School Cafeteria.  We will have a brief introduction of board members and committee co-chairs.  Coffee and Muffins will be served.

Thank you,
Catherine Fenollosa (cfenollosa@gmail.com) and Karen Fuhrman (fuhrmank35@gmail.com)
Welcome Baby Schiavone!

In case your students haven't already shared the news with you, our Physical Education teacher, Mr. Guy Schiavone and his family welcomed baby Luca 3 weeks ago, September 28th weighing 6 lbs and 6 ozs.  A big welcome to the newest Brackett baby, we are sure he cannot wait to play at Robbins Farm Park soon!

Robbins Farm Park Annual Field Day 10/22 1-5pm

Please join us this Saturday for this fun, family-oriented event featuring old-fashioned races (3-legged, egg-on-the spoon, sack race, etc.) and a nature scavenger hunt.  There will also be Moon walks, face painting, and seasonal refreshments for a nominal charge.

This is one of the many popular events coordinated by the Friends of Robbins Farm Park and volunteers are still needed to help run booths/ activities.  Can you spare an hour?  Please consider volunteering by emailing us at volunteer@robbinsfarmpark.org
Get in the Halloween Spirit:  Join us at Spooky Walk 10/29!

Please join us for Spooky Walk at ‪Menotomy Rocks Park  Saturday, 10/29 from 6:00-7:30pm. (moved from 6:30 to 6pm start due to earlier sunset these days!)  Spooky Walk is a fun Arlington event and great way to get into the Halloween spirit and test drive those costumes!  Hundreds of children, mummies and deadies attend and are delighted by Spooky Walk's creative and creepy displays, costumes and decorations each year.  Flashlights/glow sticks recommended and the walk is usually okay for the less fearsome young students, too!

For those who have enjoyed it for years, please pay it forward. We’re looking for 4th-8th grade and adult volunteers to dress up or create a “spooky station” for the little ones to enjoy. For more information, email kelleydamoreferguson@gmail.com
