No Brackett Bank on Friday, February 28th

The Brackett Bank will be closed on Friday, February 28th, to celebrate 28 years at Brackett.

There will be a school assembly with a presentation on the value of learning how to save by our sponsor, Cambridge Savings Bank. 

The fifth grade students who volunteer at the bank will be recognized for their service, presented with a gift and will participate in a group photo with Cambridge Savings Bank representatives.

A special "Thank You" to all student and parent volunteers over the last 28 years for making the Brackett Bank possible and successful!
Brackett Family Skate Night- Friday February 28th  6-8pm

THIS FRIDAY is the BRACKETT SKATING PARTY, at the Belmont Hill School Rink, from 6-8pm. $5 per skater. Please note, no skate rentals available and helmets are required for anyone under 18 (bike helmets are fine).  Don't miss this great evening for Brackett Families!

Arlington Education Foundation’s Trivia Bee
Sunday, March 23rd
3pm, Arlington Town Hall

 

Our annual Trivia Bee is a little over a month away and teams from all over Arlington are starting to come together.  Join us again!
  • You know how much fun this annual event is (fun hats, costumes, much laughter)...
  • You know how to tackle design challenges under pressure...
  • You know how important a good education is…
This year we’re offering the same incentives to participating teams.  Each team:
  • Will receive a ¼ page FREE ad in the Bee program (non-profit teams only)
  • May bring a banner to hang in the balcony and flyers or brochures for our team publicity table
  • Will be highlighted in our press releases, website and social media
To enter, form a team of three contestants (adults, please), and submit the attached registration form (or email your team info to me).  There is a $75 entry fee/team.  Although teams with Arlington teachers participate for free!
 
Registration deadline is March 14th ...but team slots filled up early last year.

 Margot Fox Family Folk-Rock Concert 
Saturday, March 8th, at 10:30 a.m. at the REGENT THEATRE in Arlington Center 
Brackett mom, Margot Fox, will be jamming with former Brackett parent, drummer, Pat Tambor.  Hope to see you there!
