Bring the family to enjoy pizza, snacks and the movie Frozen from 6-8pm in the cafeteria.
 
Proceeds go toward Brackett 5th grade graduation

The spring box top drive was a success and earned $285 for the Brackett PTO!  Keep clipping those little pink rectangles for the fall drive!
MARCH MADNESS IN THE CAFETERIA

March madness has hit the cafeteria with the Final Four of Coats, Hats, Gloves and Shoes.  Please help to pick-up these items from our court and return them to your locker room.  Any items NOT PICKED up prior to Spring Break will be donated to The Good Will.   Thanks in advance for being a member of the "clean up the cafeteria" team!

We offer a variety of after-school and vacation programs for elementary and middle school aged children, including writing and poetry workshops, book clubs, and drop-in hours.  We are a place for community, in partnership with local businesses, families, and  educators.

A  Writing Workshop for Parents
(and anyone who has a special child in their life!)

Word Photos with Irene Hannigan
Located at Write Under the Moon, 1305 Massachusetts Ave., Arlington
Word Photos is designed for parents who would like to use writing as a tool to capture and preserve special moments with their children.   In a relaxed and supportive atmosphere participants will:
•       experiment with the use of a writer's notebook, a journal, or a common book in order to find the one that suits them best
•       examine actual notebooks and projects from the  instructor’s  personal collection
•       discuss various  ways to establish and sustain a realistic writing routine
•       explore how journal entries can  be used as the raw material for more polished pieces of writing or special projects

Tuesday mornings 10:30am – 11:30 am    April 1, 8 and 15
Cost:  $10 for all three sessions

 Irene Hannigan is a parent, an educator as well as a writer.  For the past fifteen years she has facilitated a monthly writing group for adults.  She is the author of Off to School: A Parents-Eye View of the Kindergarten Year as well as many articles about education.
