The Brackett Green Team meets again!
Join us after-school on Friday March 22 for

                              TRASHFORMATIONS
A FUN student group project to transform our recyclables into sculpture to be displayed at the annual EcoFest on Saturday 3/23.

Celebrating the students’ excellent work sorting their lunchroom leftovers, our idea is to take a week’s worth of (cleaned) recyclables and build a rhinoceros.  Why a rhinoceros?  Because the weight of a mature African rhinoceros is equivalent to the weight that our recycling and composting efforts will have saved over the course of a school year from being trucked to the incinerator:  6 tons or 12,000 pounds!!!!!!

We will meet from 2:15 to 4:15 in the Art Room.  Parent facilitators most welcome.  And please spread the word to anyone you think might be interested!

Brackett Community Art Show
