Greetings *|FNAME|*!

Early Release Tuesday, April 9th 1:00 pm    (lunch will be served)

We're almost there!

Thanks to many generous Brackett Families, we're closing in on our goal of $10,000!
This money is used for our students' academic enrichment, field trips and much needed items for our classrooms. The PTO spends approximately $60 per student so a donation of any size is a great help!

We have now raised $9,400 from 93 families and we are almost there but we still need help.

We are so grateful for your generosity and support!

Important BASP Registration Information for 2013-14

Registration for the Brackett After-School Program for the 2013-14 school year opens on April 1. Registration forms will be due on or before April 24. Currently enrolled or wait-listed BASP families will receive a registration packet via email; anyone else who would like to request a registration form should contact Kimberly Burnett at basp.enroll@gmail.com. Registration forms can also be picked up in Room 111 starting April 1.
*All* families interested in a space in BASP for the 2013-14 school year must complete a registration form -- to join or retain a space on the wait list, or to retain a space in the program.
We expect to assign spaces in the after-school program by May 31, 2013, and each child's status for the fall (on the wait list or enrolled) will be emailed to registrants.  Families should be aware that the wait list is very lengthy, and it typically takes 18-24 months for a child to get a spot in the program, so please plan accordingly.

Sound of Music

Come see Brackett 1st Grader Elsa Conway as Gretl, and Brackett Alum Ben Horsburgh (brother Ian is a Brackett 1st grader) as Friedrich, in the Concord Player's production of The Sound of Music, and Elsa's dad Andrew will be playing Trombone in the orchestra! This will be an exciting show with a cast of seasoned adults and kids in one of everyone's favorite shows. For information on the show and tickets, and to learn more about the cast and crew, visit http://www.concordplayers.org. There are two kid casts. Elsa and Ben will be in the following shows:  4/27, 5/3, 5/5 (Matinee), and 5/11. At the 5/5 matinee, there will be a real Von Trapp in the audience - Maria and the Captain's grandson, Sam Von Trapp. He will be on hand for a Q&A after the show. There are still tickets left but they're selling fast. The matinees are nearly sold out.
