Interested in being a room parent next year?

Every year we scramble to get room parents in place so we can get a class list put together and get communication going. Some of the other PTO's in town organize room parents before the summer and we're going to test it out this year and see how it goes!

If you are interested, please send me your name, your email address and what grade your child will be in next year. Once everyone receives their class lists I will send an email to all interested to find out their teacher assignment.

Thanks so much!

Brackett Buddies Needed!

We are looking for volunteer families to be a Brackett Buddy family for both incoming Kindergarten and new to Brackett School (grades 1-5) families. Being a Brackett Buddy can be as minimal or rewarding as you choose it to be. You could call, send an email, or arrange a play date. A personal welcome is a great way to start the year.

If you are interested in being assigned a buddy family please complete the following google form using either this link (http://goo.gl/forms/o4BY0O7ygwF9vL1t2).

Any questions, please email Kate (katemriley@gmail.com)

Thank you for being part of such a great community!

Come to Chess Night Tonight at Dallin!

Do you like playing chess?  Come to Chess Night!

We will have an informal, non-competitive chess meet between the Dallin and Peirce schools. Did you know that both Dallin and Peirce have chess clubs? We'll invite some other schools too. Chess club members from Arlington schools will be there to play chess. Everyone of any skill level is invited to join in. You don't have to be a chess club member to attend; you just have to want to play some chess.  Come this Thursday evening to find a partner and play a game.

If you are interested, send e-mail to gil@conoa.com so we can get a head count.

See you there!

Date: June 9

Time: 6pm - 8pm

Place: Dallin Cafeteria
