The original APS Budget Scenarios Info Session & Conversation at Brackett that was scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th has been CANCELLED due to a newly added School Committee meeting on the same date.
Brackett caregivers are now invited to join with Stratton community members for a budget Q&A with Dr. Homan on Tuesday, March 3, 6:30 p.m. Join in person at the Stratton Cafeteria, child care provided, OR attend via Zoom option.

Hear about the proposed Arlington Public School budgets and ask your questions during this event with Superintendent Dr.Homan and School Committee Member Laura Gitelson. They will provide an overview of the proposed budget scenarios and answer any questions. Learn about potential cuts and how they affect Brackett.

Why are there two budget scenarios?
APS must prepare for either outcome of the upcoming vote on a operational budget override. The town wide election is March 28th.

The Arlington School Committee’s Budget and Community Relations Subcommittees invite APS families, staff, and community members to attend the third Community Budget Forum in our FY27 budget series. Please note that we have shifted this forum to virtual-only!
These Community Budget Forums are designed to help APS families, staff, and community members better understand the school budget process and how financial decisions impact Arlington Public Schools. This final forum will focus on reviewing the two budget scenarios (“yes override” scenario and “no override” scenario) that was presented on February 12th for the School Committee’s consideration.
