3rd Grade Families: Menotomy Day, Friday, May 16
Attention Third Grade parents/caregivers: Help lead the kids in an educational and fun day of hands-on lessons about life in New England in the 17th and 18th Centuries.
This interactive experience can’t happen without your help — volunteer for indoor morning classroom activities and outdoors in the afternoon to help with field games. Feel free to sign up for as many time slots as work with your schedule.

Brackett June Fair: Sunday, June 8
June Fair is back this year! Many hands are needed to bring this Brackett favorite to life — more details to come, but if you’re interested in getting involved let us know!

Brackett Bank
The PTO is looking for a few parents/caregivers to help run Brackett Bank. Brackett Bank has been operating for 38 years, and we need your help to keep this program going!
Responsibilities include:
- Attending the bank each week (1 hour/week)
- Managing accounts, including recording transactions in Excel record
- Depositing funds after bank days at Cambridge Savings Account into Brackett Bank Account
- Communicating with Dr. Vice, Teachers, and parents as necessary
- Supervising 5th Grade bank tellers
These responsibilities can be shared by multiple volunteers! Weekly commitment is less than two hours (which will be split among the team).
Interested? Contact president@brackettpto.org.
CORI Form
Massachusetts law requires schools to conduct Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) checks on current and prospective employees and volunteers.
All Brackett volunteers must fill out a CORI form and return it to the Brackett front office before volunteering. A copy of your driver’s license is needed (the office can copy it for you when you turn in the form). Hard copies of the form are available at the office and a digital copy can be found here.
CORI checks are valid for three years.
