Room representatives, or “room parents,” are an important part of making our students’ classroom experience successful.

The primary goal of a Room Representative is to support their student’s classroom teacher with their specific needs and to serve as a point person for class families.  Room Representatives work closely with the PTO and other Room Reps on tasks such as:

• Supporting Teacher Needs
• Coordinating Teacher Appreciation Gifts
• Being a Point Person for Class Parents/Caregivers
• Communicating PTO News to Families

Time Commitment:  About 1-2 hours a month throughout the school year; most tasks can be done anytime from home.  There may be some tasks during school hours, depending on the teacher’s needs.
