The Brackett Book Fair will be Monday, December 1 – Friday, December 5. (That’s the week right after Thanksgiving Break!)
This is a wonderful opportunity to build your child’s home library with books they’ll love to read again and again, while supporting our school library at the same time!
Students will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair:
- During their normal library class times
- Before School — 7:30-8:00 a.m. (M-F)
- After School — 2:30-3:00 p.m. (M, T, Th, F)/1:00-1:30 p.m. (W)
- Family Night on Thursday, December 4th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Every purchase at the Book Fair – brought to us by a Brackett alum parent and owner of Arlington’s Book Rack – helps fund new books and repairs for the Brackett Library, which saw over 22,000 checkouts last year! Our students are reading—and they need your support to keep our shelves full of exciting, high-quality books.
Contribute to your classroom teacher’s book fund!
Help get new books into your child’s classroom library by donating to your teacher’s book fund. Teachers will be able to use your contributions to purchase books at the Book Fair for their classroom. Any unused funds will be donated to the Brackett Library.

We need volunteer to help the magic come to life!
Volunteers are needed to:
- Help students select and make purchases
- Staff cash registers
- Restock and organize books for sale
Shifts are available before/during/after school and at Family Night (Thur, Dec 4, 5:00-7:00 p.m.)
You can volunteer during your child’s library time and see them enjoy the fair in person!
