Brackett Field Day
Brackett Field Day is back for its third year on Friday, May 30! (Rain date is Friday, June 6). Students will have fun in the sun at Robbins Farm Park as they take part in scooter races, bean bag toss, sack races, limbo, cup stacking, egg on a spoon, and more! Each grade has been assigned a color to show their class spirit; students are encouraged to wear their class color. Incoming Kindergarten Orientation
Welcome Incoming Kindergarten Families! There will be a parent/caregiver Kindergarten Orientation at Brackett on Wednesday, May 28, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Specialist teachers, academic support staff, the PTO, and more will have tables in the gymnasium for new families learn more about Brackett. PTO Community Meeting Rescheduled
Due to a conflict with the Arlington Public School's Community Math Forum on May 22, the Brackett PTO Community Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 3, 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be virtual and will include a recap of this year’s events and a discussion of plans and priorities for next year. Come share any ideas you have for the PTO! A link to the virtual meeting will be posted closer to the date.
Little Rainbows Event: May 20
The Brackett Rainbow Alliance students are hosting a Little Rainbows event on Tuesday, May 20th from 2:30-3:15 p.m.! The Brackett Rainbow Alliance and the PTO have joined forces to host a relaxed social gathering for K-2 students and families to bring together LGBTQIA+ families, students, and allies. Third Grade: Menotomy Day
Brackett third graders will continue the Menotomy Day tradition this Friday, May 16. Third grade parents/caregivers will lead students in an educational and fun day of hands-on lessons about life in New England in the 17th and 18th Centuries.
