BRACKETT ELEMENTARY PTO
4th and 5th Grade Science Fair
Brackett Science Fair
Tuesday, March 10, 2026
A science fair is about discovering and developing your scientific instincts and having fun. Brackett students are going to learn to think like scientists, act like scientists, organize things like scientists, talk like scientists and maybe even tie their shoes like scientists.
Some of the best science fair projects involve answering a question about something that makes you curious, then proving to people that your answer is correct. They’re about doing science and communicating what you did.
Sign Up for the Science Fair
You may work alone or with 1-2 friends! Partners can be in other classes, or even other grades!
All 4th and 5th Graders participating must fill out this form
Three things to remember about choosing your project:
- Be realistic about what you can do. Just try to ask one question in your project and prove one thing through your experiment.
- Run your experiment as many times as possible. When you can show that your results turn out the same over and over, it makes it more believable.
- Your experiment should be reproducible. Plan your experiment so that anybody can do it and get the same result.
