Third Grade Families: Menotomy Day will take place on Thursday, May 21st — and you’re invited to get involved with this fun, interactive day!

Menotomy Day is a highlight of the 3rd grade year. Students spend the day immersed in hands-on learning about life in Arlington during the 17th and 18th centuries, with activities like candle-making, butter churning, and traditional outdoor games.

To bring this special day to life, we’re looking for parents and caregivers to help with both planning/preparation and running activity stations on the day of the event.

Thanks to the thoughtful work of past 3rd grade families, we have a great plan in place—we just need helping hands to make it happen!  We need volunteers for:

  • Planning/Prep: Up to ~5 hours total (flexible—any amount of help is appreciated!)
  • Day-of Volunteers: Half-day (morning or afternoon) or full-day options available
    • How to sign up: Keep your eye out for an email after April break with specific roles during the event.

Thank you for helping create such a memorable experience for our kids!
