Volunteers Needed: Help Arlington families gear up for winter by helping the APS Welcome Center’s Ponder Threads Closet organize and hold their Warm Up for Winter event.
Volunteers are needed to help sort/hang/organize donations Tuesday, November 18-Monday, November 24 and then to help set up and run the event on Tuesday, November 25.
Thanks to the incredible support and collaboration of Arlington’s PTOs, APS staff and families are invited to stop by the Welcome Center Ponder Threads Closet (14 Mill Brook Drive, Arlington) to pick up free winter coats, boots, sweaters, toiletries, and more for the whole family at the Warm Up for Winter event on Tuesday, November 25, 1:00-6:00 p.m. Light snacks will be served, and all APS community members in need are welcome.
To help the APS Welcome and Resource Center plan and ensure they have enough items for everyone, please complete this registration form if you plan to attend the event (for participants who need winter gear, not volunteers).
